How do prepaid cards work?
firstthere Prepaid MasterCard® Cards help you manage your money easily.
A prepaid card is the payment card equivalent of a 'Pay as You Go' Mobile Phone. It can be used at any Point Of Sale, ATM or online store worldwide where the MasterCard Acceptance Mark is displayed. This means that your money can be accessed quickly and simply whenever you want and wherever you are.
A prepaid card must be loaded with funds prior to use; there is no credit facility like an overdraft or credit card. It is ideal for temporary or migrant workers as it can be issued without any credit checks or fuss, we only have to verify the card holder's identity and residency. The Primary card holder must be aged 18 years or over.
There is no credit facility and only you control the money on your card. In effect it is like being paid in cash, only very securely and with many more benefits to you.
